Vw 1303 changes:
1972
The VW in 1303, in August 1972 on the market. It is easy at the far vaulted to the front windshield and the big three-chamber tail lamps (elephant feet) to recognize the slightly modified fenders mounted.
The interior is the first padded dashboard. Directly behind the windscreen runs a heating and fresh air channel with 42 Luftschlitzen to the left and right of Defrosterdüsen for the side windows framed. The seat base now consists of three legs, the seat adjustment was made on the central tunnel. The backrest is sevenfold adjustable. The fuse box is in the middle of the dashboard accommodated, the front hood is a lever in the glove compartment unlocked.
The 1303 VW has a Schräglenkerhinterachse McPherson spring and a front leg with stabilizer. It is a role-steering gear is used.
The Panorama beetles are available at its launch with two engine versions: with a 1.3 liter engine and 32 KW/44 PS and the 1.6 liter engine with 37 KW/50 HP. A dry air filter paper is used for all 1303 installed. The more motorised 1303 have disc brakes at the front axle. There will be a smoother engine and gearbox suspension reduction in the Innengeräuschpegels.
1973
The 1303 family will increase, the 1303 A with 1.2 litre engine and 25 kW / 34 hp. He is a cheap version of 1303, with an unchanged body. But it is in the black bumpers visible. 1975
The saddest year for all of 1303 limousines fans. On 01 July 1975, the production of the 1303 VW sedan for the German market. Until October 1975, the production for the American market to the special action "The Big Bug".
